John Elijah Jones received a powerful gift from God at an early age. But John is only human, and the trials of life have pushed him many miles and many years away from his faith.
Trevor McIntire is an atheist. His girlfriend, Lisa, desperately needs a miracle, and Trevor will do anything to get it – anything, that is, but trust in God.
John and Trevor are on a collision course. Their battle of wills determines not only who continues to suffer the most pain, but whether Lisa will live or die.

Here’s what “Judge, 28th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards” has to say…
“MIRACLE AT WINTERVILLE by Robert Quattlebaum is an uplifting novel well worth the reader’s time. The problem is high stakes, the conflict is strong and deep, and the reader comes to care about the characters. These are all excellent elements to recommend a novel and novelist.
The front cover is interesting and catches the eye. The picture is detailed and pleasant to observe. The back cover tells about the plot as not to reveal too much but will encourage the reader to dig right in. This would have been a good place for an author photo and bio, although the reader is pleased to see this inside. An endorsement or two always adds much to a back or even a front cover, so perhaps the author can secure those on future editions of the book. The bookmark included is a pleasant surprise.
The story is written in a fast-paced way, though the reader may need a few pages to settle in. The elements of faith will be greatly appreciated, especially by Christians, and even more by those Christians who face obstacles in the form of unbelievers. The author offers realistic characters who have genuine differences in life outlooks. He doesn’t set up a straw man to tear down. The thoughtful reader will appreciate this aspect of the book. The story moves along well, and any reader will be pleased with the wonderful conclusion.
A great novel. Hopefully this author has many more stories planned.”
Mr. Jo’
Alexander Jōb has it all – fame, family, and fortune. He’s charming and giving, and a friend to the lowliest stranger. But success can make you a target—especially to people like gang leader Trent Mulligan. And for no good reason except he can’t stomach an honest man.
Lily Holloway, an orphan, barely owns the clothes on her back. She could ask for a lot of things, but all she really wants is a family and a loving home. Unfortunately, she’s trapped in a system without much room for love.
As Alex’s world turns upside down in a journey whose destiny is despair, where can he find hope when the God he’s always trusted looks the other way? And what can Lily and Alex—two people with no hope for tomorrow—possibly offer each other?
Ask anyone in town about Esau Bergmann, and you get the same reaction. Sour face. A disgusted gasp. Rolling eyes. He’s harsh, cantankerous, and downright rude. If he hasn’t offended you, it’s because you haven’t crossed paths with him. Esau has one lone friend in the world, and he wouldn’t have that but for the deep, dark secret they share that neither dares talk about any longer.
Megan McAllister couldn’t be more different from Esau. Young. Carefree. Always sporting a mile-wide smile. She delights in everyone and everything. The odd thing about Megan, though, is that the townsfolk don’t feel much different about her than they do Esau. For different reasons, of course. You see, Megan is … special. That’s the polite word for it. But in Megan’s world of the 1950’s, they use a less flattering description. They call her a retard.
Boundaries aren’t Megan’s strongpoint. And living right next door to Esau is a recipe for disaster. She strays into his yard so often that he lodges a formal complaint against her family. The trouble escalates into an all-out feud that threatens to tear Megan’s household apart.
Is there anything Megan can do – or stop doing – to crack Esau’s rock-hard exterior and rescue her father from the pending legal battle? Or must Megan’s own past secrets come to light before Esau and the McAllisters find peace? Only one thing is certain – an epic showdown is brewing in the sleepy little town of Ellinsworth, GA. And the center of the controversy? Megan’s smile.
Sydney lives on the wrong side of the tracks. But she’s still a princess – in Daddy’s eyes, anyway. Who cares what the trailer park kids think? Or even her sister. Life’s good. She’s got nothing to complain about.
Until Daddy dies. Then Sydney is torn away from home, school, and friends – her whole world. She’s stuck with a new family – complete strangers – and told to be happy about it.
No way. Sydney’s never been good at taking orders, and she’s not going to start now. Running away is her answer. But she’s about to find out that life on the street is way more dangerous than anything she could imagine.
Has Sydney dug a hole so deep she can’t climb out? Or, by some miracle, will this tossed-out princess luck up on a second chance?
